Matt Dugdale judges National RTPI Planning Awards for Excellence

Matt Dugdale, Planning Director of Richborough Commercial was on the judging panel for this year’s Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Awards for Planning Excellence.

Now in their 48th year, the national awards take the regional winners and choose the best innovative and inspirational entries from across the country, in 15 categories ranging from ‘Planning for a Successful Economy’ to ‘Planning for Heritage and Culture‘.

The winners will be announced on 27th November at a dedicated ceremony in London.

Alongside his judging duties Matt is part of the organisation’s General Assembly for 2025/26 and the University of Liverpool’s RTPI Partnership Board.  He said: “It is such a privilege to get firsthand look at the best of the best in the UK’s planning sector and I’m so pleased to see such a range of initiatives that promote legacy and longevity in our built environment. Congrats to all the finalists!
